2024, A YEAR OF PRIESTHOOD

     This year, 2024 is the year of Priesthood. Number 24 speaks of priesthood. The Church is a Kingdom of Priest, a royal generation… a holy nation… 1 Peter 2:5, “Come and, like living stones, be yourselves built [into] a spiritual house, for a holy (dedicated, consecrated) priesthood, to offer up [those] spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ”. This was the King’s intent from the beginning. The Church is made up of kings [chosen generation] of royal priesthood... "But you are a CHOSEN GENERATION/Race , a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, a HOLY/Dedicated NATION, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light"... 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV.

     2024 is the year we have access to the Sanctuary of God... a call to spiritual government - a Heavenly government of priesthood. Most of the time, the 24th time a key name is used speaks of an aspect of work or duty that a true priest of God is to do, whether it is intercession, healing, or ruling. For example, the 24th time that the name of Joseph appears is in Genesis 39:6, where we read that Potiphar “left everything he owned in Joseph’s charge.” Jesus said in Luke 12:44 about the good stewards, “Truly I say to you, that he will put him in charge of all his possessions”. Such is the Melchizedek Priesthood, taken from every tribe, tongue, and nation, for they will be made into a kingdom of priests and will reign on the earth… Revelation 5:9-10, “And [now] they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation. And You have made them a kingdom (royal race) and priests to our God, and they shall reign [as kings] over the earth! [Exod. 19:6.].

     I decree and declare to you that as a citizen of the Kingdom of God, you are a priests of the Lord; people will speak of you as the minister of our God. You will eat the wealth of the nations, and the glory of your captors will be yours as you enter your heavenly mandate. [Revelation 1:6; 5:10]… Isaiah 61:6.
