 PHILADELPHIA AGE

     At God's appointed time, the Lord Jesus is going to burst onto the world scene. Then everyone will know Him as the Lord of the universe! Those who love Him will rejoice, greeting their Savior with hearts overflowing into songs of praise. But, His enemies will be filled with fear upon discovering that they chose the wrong side. Jesus, the humble suffering Servant, is also the powerful, conquering King and Judge.

     Revelation is a book of hope. John, the beloved apostle and eyewitness of Jesus, proclaimed that the victorious Lord would surely return to vindicate the righteous and judge the wicked. But, Revelation is also a book of warning. Like John's day, things are not as they should be in the Church. Therefore, Jesus is calling His Bride to recommit herselves to RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS. We can take heart as we understand John's vision of hope: Christ is very soon going to return to rescue those who are waiting for Him, and settle accounts with all who defy Him. But, through this blog, I will continue to give every update I receive so that you are able to make your eternal decision based on the truth straight from the Spirit of God, the sweet Holy Spirit... the Governor of the Government of God on earth.

     Although the seven churches in Revelation chapters two and three were specific churches in different locations in John's day, they also represent 7 ages of the Church. And today, they DEPICT what is happening in the Church. Individual heart is also represented. Not a single church congregation is perfect according to Jesus: the church is loveless, persecuted, compromised, corrupt, lukewarm and dead. But, very few God's people are faithful. Looking at the churches in the Book of Revelation as the Church Age, the Body of Christ today is at the Philadephia. 

PHILADELPHIA  - 2023 - 2025

Revelation 3:7-13

     The Philadelphia age is when the endtime Church is being revealed. God's people, like a seive, the problems on earth today are shaking her until what cannot be shaken will remain. The Bride of Christ is at her darkest hour. From the beginning of 2023, the apostasy of the Church began to happen - the love of many has grown cold; persecution has being going on within the Church; compromise is the order of the day; corruption has replaced the true move of the Holy Spirit; and with the absence of the Spirit of Jesus, our fellowships are dead. So, the Lord has allowed the shaking [Revelation 6:7, 8] to weed out any falsehood. 

    The Church is getting smaller and smaller, but at the same time, though getting smaller, she's becoming brighter and brighter. The Church is at midnight according to the Spirit's countdown and, we are heading towards morning. But Jesus' return is not yet. Scriptures give us two leading signs to Christ' return: the great fall away [apostasy] and great  peace towards the end. This end time Church will be persecuted greatly at this time until the end, but she will remain very faithful and grow very bright. Jesus is telling her to hold on... Revelation 3:7-13, esp. verse 10... "Because you have guarded and kept My word of patient endurance [have held fast the lesson of My patience with the expectant endurance that I give you], I also will keep you [safe] from the hour of trial (testing) which is coming on the whole world to try those who dwell upon the earth". 

     The hour of testing that the Lord is refering to will begin immediately after Rapture of the Church... not a long time from now. In Scriptures, God is not in the habit of punishing the wicked together with the righteous... Rapture is assured. On the 7th week of 2024, the Spirit of God gave me a dream: in the dream, it was the 21st day of September the day before the rapture. I was half-running all over telling people, “Tomorrow at six is the rapture, be ready”! The people looked at me and continued in their chores. Others laughed at me. There’s a group, after doing this, I stopped and asked them, “Do you know how long it has taken waiting to do just this”? And I walked away. I woke up confused. I walked to the bathroom asking, “Lord, what day is this? Is it Rapture day”? It was so real to me. 

     The Apostle Paul wrote the  epistle of 1 Thessalonians 5, that it would have been untimely for the Lord to reveal to him the day of His return. The Lord revealed what was paramount for the people of his day - like the salvation of the gentiles! The King of kings is true and just. He is not waiting to catch us unawares – a day before His return is good-enough... especially verse 4. "For God has not appointed us to incur His wrath. He did not select us to condemn us, but that we might obtain His salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah" ...1 Thessalonians 5:9.

The Great apostasy

     Like I said, the great fall-away began  in 2023. The Church is 'numb'... she does not recognize the signs of the time. When the message of the Kingdom is  being preached, many in the Church think that it is in error, and yet, this is the message that will usher in Christ' return, "And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end"...Matthew 24:14. Jesus saw that His Church would preach everything else but the message of the Kingdom. So, He made sure to draw our attention by being specific of the message to be preached. 

     This is the equivalent of 1 Corinthians 15:34, "Awake [from your drunken stupor and return] to sober sense and your right minds, and sin no more. FOR SOME OF YOU HAVE NOT THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD [you are utterly and willfully and disgracefully ignorant, and continue to be so, lacking the sense of God's presence and all true knowledge of Him]. I say this to your shame", apostle Paul warns. According to Daniel, he saw this Kingdom of God message on earth, which he predicted that it would be different from all other message by the Church and shall devour the whole earth, tread it down, and break it in pieces and crush it.

     Many will be offended and repelled and will begin to distrust and desert Him Whom they ought to trust and obey and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred. And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error. And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity"...Matthew 24:10-12. 

    The Gospels of Mark and Luke, speaking of the those who are falling away, said, "And they have no real root in themselves, and so they endure for a little while; then when trouble or persecution arises on account of the Word, they immediately are offended (become displeased, indignant, resentful) and they stumble and fall away"... Mark 4:17; Luke 8:13. Apostle Peter said, "Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked [persons and] fall from your own [present] firm condition [your own steadfastness of mind]"...2 Peter 3:17; 1 Timothy 4:1, 2. 

     The apostasy is in the Church. It refers to those who have tasted the goodness of the Lord and witnessed to the 'powers of the age to come' and are now walking away from the Truth... the Church. Although there's a continous deliberate attempt to deny God's presence, the Holy Spirit on earth continues to restrain much evil until He and the Church are out of the way... 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4. However, there are consequences of falling away... Jude 1:5ff. If the chosen people, angels, and sinful cities were punished, how much more would anyone else be severely judged.

LAODICEA  - 2025 FORWARD

Revelation 3:7ff

     From 2025 until Rapture, the dust will seem to settle on the earth. Some kind of peace will seem to be overtaking the earth. But, don't be fooled, it had been predicted, "But as to the suitable times and the precise seasons and dates, brethren, you have no necessity for anything being written to you. For you yourselves know perfectly well that the day of the [return of the] Lord will come [as unexpectedly and suddenly] as a thief in the night. When people are saying, all is well and secure, and, there is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and death) will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and they shall by no means escape. But you are not in [given up to the power of] darkness, brethren, for that day to overtake you by surprise like a thief"... 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4. 

     Close to two thousand years ago, apostle Paul told the Thessalonians Church that the LORD was not going keep the information about His return as a secret forever. Just about His coming, He would send His Spirit to reveal about the day, date and time of His return. But for us, since we are in the last hours of This Great Return, He is reminding us to prepare, time is here. And what is the signal? The message of the Kingdom of God is being preached to the world as a testimony to all nations, and then.. the end will come. A message will forerunner the revelation of the King of kings. 

      To be a friend of the world is to be an enemy of God. The Scriptures are very articulate concerning Christ's return; many of the saints will have gotten themselves so cozy with the world. Then suddenly, they will be left behind. The LAODICEA Age [lukewarmness - the saints not being hot or cold] will be a sure sign that the Lord Jesus is about to be revealed, to withdraw His Bride from the earth. Many false prophets will proclaim peace, but do not be deceived - keep close to the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. Just like denying the existense of sin does not remove it, denying the truth does not change it. As in Noah's day, people do not realize what is going to happen until rapture takes place and they are left behind.
