RAPTURE COMMITTEE

Daniel 12:9, “… for the words are shut up and sealed till the time of the end…”

Sometime in early June 2023, the Spirit of the Lord led me to go looking for the second in command to deliver an important message to him. I spent quite a bit of time at the lobby of his office just waiting to know if I would get an appointment to see him. At about 12 noon, I excused myself so that I could attend a lunch hour service at a certain Church in the City. At the service, although I cannot honestly remember what the man of God preached on, there was a certain question he paused at the middle of his preaching that seemed like it was ‘mockingly’ directed at me. He asked, “I hope none of you in this service is in the Rapture committee”?

From where I sat, I laughed so loudly in such a way that I could hear my own laughter. I felt a nudge to answer back but I didn’t. After the service, I went to greet the man of God and to tell him that I was member of the Rapture committee and indeed, I was the chairman… though I said it in a nice way. Why is the message of the return of Christ at Rapture not a very popular one? Could it be that the Church has become so worldly or the world has become so churchy? The Church has become so religiously dead and is no longer able to influence the world. Every one has got their own religion – Muslims, Hindus, Atheists, Christians etc. So, when people come into our churches seeking what their religion doesn’t offer them; and find religion in there, they find the next exit door.

 Timing about Christ’s return for His Bride will not always remain hidden! If Daniel got a snippet to it, we too will receive a revelation. If you have seen my past blogs, you could be saying in your heart, “Here she goes again”! I will not mince my words when I say this… Rapture year will be revealed. How can the Groom set the date and time for His return for His Bride and not tell her? Daniel was shown the time at the end but could not be allowed to talk about it because the message was not for the people of his day. Therefore, stop casting stones at me already.

As I wrote this blog way past midnight, my pad went off and since it was late, I decided to go to bed. But as I lay there, my mind refused to relax but continued to write and meditate on this topic. I was reminded that God has sent me to my ‘family’, a people He refers to as having ‘hard hearts’. From the beginning of 2019, the Spirit of the Lord asked me to begin to connect with the apostles… Galatians 2:2ff. I wrote to two seeking time to meet with them. One did not bother even to acknowledge my letter while the other did acknowledge, he said that he was in a season of prayer. And I understood because it was at the time when COVID 19 was spreading rapidly. To date, I’m still waiting for his call. Last year, I was asked to contact a renowned apostle and a prophet from Africa but these too did not materialize.

Why does the Lord want me to work with others? This is because the fivefold of Ephesians 4:11-13 are a gift to the Church and their responsibility is to build and equip the Church. God wants to use them one more time to preach the only relevant message about the Kingdom of God and this message will usher the Lord’s return for the Church… Matthew 24:14, “And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end”. As a maid of honor, I’m making a distinct call to the rest of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, to move together in love to proclaim the only message at this time. I dare say, we – the fivefold – are all in the Rapture committee, whether we recognize it or not. It was really shocking to me to learn that the man of God at the lunch-hour service… actually an apostle, did not have the revelation of the time the Church is in. To recap on the meditation shortly before I slept, I was not planning to expose this apostle because it would be dishonoring him. When I fell asleep, the Lord gave me a dream about other people’s stories one after another. In the waking life, He rebuked me. He told me that my own experience would be the most appropriate if He, the Lord, was going to change the people. He said, mine was to tell my story, and His was to change the people using my story.

Time after time and revelation after revelation, the Lord keeps telling me that He will be removing the light from the Lampstands that do not preach the message of the Kingdom of God. This is the only message that Christ brought… Isaiah 9:6, 7, the message the early apostles taught and the only message appropriate at this time.. to usher the imminent return of Christ. The Lord has graced me with an entire blueprint based on the preparation of the most important event in the calendar of the Church. Dear Rapture Committee members, let’s join hands towards the successful rebuilding of the Church. The wheels of the return of Christ are already in motion and no one is able to stand on the way.
