KENYA, A CHOSEN NATION
Exodus 19:5, "Now therefore, if you will obey My voice in truth and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own peculiar possession and treasure from among and above all peoples; for all the earth is Mine."...1 Peter 2:9 AMP
If you've read the story of the Hebrew Bible [Old Testament], you know that it tells the story of God's interaction with one particular nation, Israel. The Hebrew Scriptures are full of language about Israel's special status as God's chosen nation. The word translated 'nations', ethne, has at least two overtones. It means 'people or groups', who might speak the same language, follow the same religion or live in the same area. But it's also shorthand for 'Gentiles', non-Jews; it's the word used for them in Matthew 10.18, for instance.
In the morning of the 9th day of July 2024, the Lord said to me, "Kenya is different from other nations". After asking what it means, I then heard again, "Global scale" - the geographical realm encompassing all of Earth - in relation to the entire world. Kenya is not like other nations. Kenya has a prophetic mandate especially to provoke Israel to repent. Like you have had it said, she [Kenya] was the springboard of revival as it started already. Therefore, she must be aligned to the Lord's divine will.
God choses a nation in relation to His dear Son Jesus Christ and Kenya is not different as you will read from my book, 'My Memoir'. Israel was chosen by God to be His Own people/possession. A Savior was born to redeem the Jews first, then the Gentiles. To be chosen comes with responsibilities. When Israel rebelled, God did not hesitate to discipline them, to an extent of sending them to exile. Now that Kenya's leadership is in rebellion, the children too are in rebellion. They've all refused the counsel of the 'spirit and power of Elijah'. Until the President comes in alignment with the will of God, the people will continue to rebel. God has withdrawn His favor that was upon him.
Prophet Malachi predicted the consequences of this particular rebellion in his book, "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes. And he shall turn and reconcile the hearts of the estranged fathers to the ungodly children, and the hearts of the rebellious children to the piety of their fathers [a reconciliation produced by repentance of the ungodly], lest I come and smite the land with a curse and a ban of utter destruction"... Malachi 4:5-6. Before you label your sons and daughters rebellious, check your personal relationship with God. So, how does a rebellious nation look like? Let me paint a biblical picture for you. David spent many years running from king Saul's instability. And after coming to power, he run away again from a rebellious son Absalom - he had stolen the hearts of the men of Israel... 2 Samuel 15-18.
The Scripture was written for our learning. Apostle Peter warned that God did not hesitate to discipline angels that sinned, but cast them into hell, delivering them to be kept there in pits of gloom till the judgment and their doom. He spared not the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven other persons, when He brought a flood upon the world of ungodly people. God condemned to ruin and extinction the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, reducing them to ashes and thus set them forth as an example to those who would be ungodly.
The Lord at one time delivered a people out of the land of Egypt and subsequently destroyed those of them who did not believe who refused to adhere, trust, and rely upon Him. Jesus Himself learned obedience through His own suffering. Our nation is cursed and is headed to much suffering because of the sin of our leader - a leader's sin is a leading sin. Our leaders revile, scoff and sneer at anything they do not happen to be acquainted with and do not understand.
So, let he who is unjust continue to be unjust; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still. Behold, Jesus is coming soon, and shall bring His wages and rewards with Him, to repay and render to each one just what his own actions and his own work merit. The Holy Spirit and the Bride (the Church) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty and whoever desires to do it, let him come to the Lord and drink the water of Life without cost. He Who gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming quickly. Amen!
Yes, come, Lord Jesus!
