THE RIVER OF HEALING - Part 1

According to Ezekiel 47:1ff, healing does not come from wells, it comes from rivers. The river denotes the move of the Holy Spirit. Rivers come from bubbling wells. In verses 3-5, the Holy Spirit infills us in different levels depending with your thirst. My counsel, Thirst for more. Go to the deep…vs 5, “the water was too deep to walk Across. It was deep enough to swim in but too deep to walk through”. It Also takes your time to work on quenching your thirst. No one will Doubt when you move ‘in the deep’ because of the move of the Spirit. Beware, crocodiles [symbolizing gossipers] don’t like deep or rocky Waters. But, they love shallow waters. The Lord once cautioned me Against remaining in the shallow waters; He showed me in a vision that I was swimming with the crocodiles. Thirst for more and as you do this, the King will use you more and more.

The River in Ezekiel 47:2-5 and 9 is similar to the River mentioned in Revelation 22:1, “THEN HE showed me the river whose waters give life, sparkling like crystal, flowing out from the throne of God and of the Lamb”. Both are associated with the River in the Garden of Eden… Genesis 2:10-14. The River of Life is behind every healing you see. This is the River that has been healing us. Four times cancer survivor, this River healed me every time. In the coming days, we are going to see increased healings for those who approach the River by faith. The River of Life symbolizes life from God and the blessings that flow from the Throne. It is a gentle, safe, deep River, expanding as it flows.

Prophet Ezekiel gives us a glimpse of the flow of the healing River of the Holy Spirit. Prophets are put on the weighing scale to determine their surrender to the Holy Spirit, the more you surrender to the Holy Spirit, the more He comes into your life. The sweet Spirit of Jesus is a gentleman, He does not force Himself on us. When you love, honor and fellowship with Him, He will come. The more you abide in the Lord Jesus, the more His Spirit abides in and with you.

On the 16th May 2023, I had just been in a 7-days conference. I was not the main speaker at this conference but on the last day, after the visiting prophet was taken to lunch, I was left and the Lord used the opportunity to minister to one of the attendees. Having been used powerfully to reveal/prophesy to the person given the red horse… Revelation 6:3, 4; when I went back to my house, the glory of God was all over me. I was physically feeling drunk – intoxicated by His presence. I then asked the Lord what was happening: I was taken in the Spirit and I saw my spirit walking up many stairs that had water flowing down on them. When I got to the top, I saw a Throne and One like the King of kings wearing a crown sitting on it. I didn't see His face though. My vision was just like this verse in Revelation 22:1.

Apostle John in the above verse, saw Thrones, “THEN HE showed me the river whose waters give life, sparkling like crystal, flowing out from the throne of God and of the Lamb”. We see the two Thrones of the King Father and the King Son and The Holy Spirit is the River flowing from the Throne. This is what Prophet Isaiah speaks about in Isaiah 11:2, “And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him - the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord”. This is what the Lord Jesus promised, ‘that Rivers of Living Water” would spring forth continually in those who abide in Him.

On the 20th July 2023, Jehovah Ishi by His grace took me to swim into this River. I had just prayed and I was waiting on the Lord Jesus. Immediately in a vision, I was taken in the Spirit to the heavenly realm where we usually meet with the Lord. After I sat down, He asked me, “Where have you been”? We had agreed that this would be our meeting spot for safety and privacy but I had not waited on the Lord for about a day. I apologized and while we just talked, I happened to look down. I noticed that we were moving so fast upwards. When the Lord noticed that I was flicking out, He told me to keep a gaze at Him. In less than a minute, we were in a pool of water deep enough to swim. Upon looking up, I noticed a fall of water. In the real life I cannot swim.

While in the water, I told the Lord that I could not swim. He laughed and began to swim. I remained there in the water but I could little dive in and out of the water. I then asked Him where we were at and He said, “At the River of Life”. He kept laughing at me in a nice loving way. We were there for sometime. Now, every time I close my eyes to wait on the Lord, I find myself with the Lord at the River of Life.

The following day as I noted down this vision, I asked the Lord, “what does this mean [the vision]? I heard the Spirit of Jesus say, “I will teach you how to swim”! Indeed, every time my spirit went to meet with the Lord, I could see how well she [my spirit] learnt how to swim. I thank JHVH Ishi for the grace to serve Him in this way. I also noted some romantic moments as the Lord expressed His Love for me. I love You too, Lord. The River in Isaiah 11:2 is permanent. Finally, the Spirit of the Lord brought the Lord and I here, at the River of Life.

On the Friday of the 28th day of July 2023 at some minutes to seven in the evening, I had been praying and I got the urge to repent of which I did. Consecration is key. I then began to wait on the Lord. As usual, I was caught in the Spirit and we were together at the River of Life. This time around, He asked me to swim further than before and He would follow behind me. I did swim and came back to where He was. I would like to note that every time I was very close to Him, His face changed. This time, His face was bleeding from the crown of thorns. The next minute, I was seeing Him on the cross… and the cross was on the water. I could hear in my spirit the Lord saying to me, “It is by my grace I allow you to come this close, and to the River of Life.

He then asked me to swim to the opposite direction, actually, on His right. As soon as I was at a distance from Him, He swam very fast towards me. By this time, I could see some trees with yellow–orange fruit on either side right ahead of me. I asked Him what they were and as we turned back, He answered me, “The Tree of Life”, Revelation 22:2, “… on either side of the river was the tree of life with its twelve varieties of fruit, yielding each month its fresh crop; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing and the restoration of the nations”. It is then I understood why we had to swim back very fast. To tell the truth, this is not the time to access the Tree of Life, Revelation 22:14, “Blessed (happy and to be envied) are those who cleanse their garments, that they may have the authority and right to [approach] the tree of life… “, the Bible says. I was shocked when I saw this verse; that the Lord had allowed me to come close to the Tree of Life. Prophet Ezekiel also came close to this Tree of Life…Ezekiel 47:1ff. This indeed, is an exiting time for the Church to see the Scriptures come alive.

The Flowing River of Life

Who is the Spirit of the Lord?  Please take a careful look at the following Scriptures: Genesis 2:10... “Now a river went out of Eden to water the garden, and from there it parted and became four riverheads”. In Ezekiel 47:3-5... “And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured one thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles”. In these Scriptures, we find the words ‘river’ and ‘waters’. In the original ancient languages, the same root word is used for ‘river’ and ‘water’.  The Hebrew word is nahar, which means a stream, a flood, ‘a river’ or a permanent natural watercourse, something like a reservoir. The Bible also mentions about a river that flows out of the city of God Jerusalem, also called Zion - where God has chosen to put His Name and His Presence. So, all this means one thing - a river is flowing from the Presence of God.

Apostle John saw, “... a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb”… Revelation 22:1. We see in this Scripture the phrases: ‘throne of God’ and ‘throne of the Lamb’. We see God seated on His throne, and the Lord Jesus, the Lamb of God seated on His throne. But where is the Holy Spirit?  The Holy Spirit is the pure River of Life that is flowing from the midst of the throne.

The Spirit of the Lord is the manifest presence of the Godhead in Spirit form.  Let me explain and qualify this statement. There is a marked difference between the Presence of the Lord Jesus and the manifest Presence of the Lord Jesus, there is a difference between the Presence of God and the manifest Presence of God, and there is a difference between the Presence of the Holy Spirit and the manifest Presence of the Holy Spirit.  Well, what is the difference? You may ask.  When we say, “Oh, I feel the presence of God in this place”, it’s just the gentle presence of the Lord that is hovering all over the place.  But when the manifest Presence of God comes, we’ll all be down on our faces before God. When the manifest Presence of God comes, it’s like a thick cloud that comes down and rests heavily over the whole atmosphere.

In the Book of Genesis 2:10-14, we read that one river flowed somewhere from the center of Eden and parted into four heads: Gihon, Pison, Hiddekel [Tigris] and Euphrates.  Four rivers also come forth out of the Holy Spirit - The Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation, the Spirit of Counsel and Might, The Spirit of Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord and the Spirit of the Lord… Isaiah 11:2. These four rivers flow at four different levels.

There is a beautiful relationship between the account in the books of Genesis and Ezekiel.  From the original Hebrew language, we can find a beautiful relationship between the two narratives: ‘Gihon’ in Hebrew means a stream; ‘Pison’ in Hebrew means a river that flows freely; ‘Hiddekel’ in Hebrew means one that flows rapidly; ‘Euphrates’ in Hebrew means bursts in abundance. When we correlate the rivers of Genesis 2 with the account of Ezekiel 47: Gihon, a stream, is a small level river and not deep, for it is only ankle deep. Pishon, a river that flows freely and is deeper. This river flows at a level that is knee deep. When we come to this level, the river of revelation flows freely. Hiddekel, a river that flows rapidly, whose current is fast and strong. This is the waist deep level. Euphrates is a very deep river whose waters burst in abundance. The water here is so deep that one must swim in it. This is why knowing the key to the flow is important.

Come Lord Jesus
