VETTING OF THE CHURCHES

     All churches and religion based organizations have to go through a security vetting process prior to registration in our land. Let me be very clear here, no Church is perfect according to Jesus’ very Own words in Revelation Chapter Two. The vetting is very good because leaders must be held accountable for the people they represent. But, they should not stop there, the Church of Jesus Christ is not business as usual. The allowing, permitting and validating the Church is solely in the Lord’s Hands, just as He said it would be for the loveless church at Ephesus, He is saying it again, “Remember then from what heights you have fallen. Repent (change the inner man to meet God's will) and do the works you did previously [when first you knew the Lord], or else I will visit you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you change your mind and repent”…Revelation 2:5.

     The Body of Christ must repent [change the way she thinks and think in a Kingdom way]. Religion and rituals she has continued to practice will somehow catch up with her. Everyone has their own religion: the Muslim have their own, the Hindu have their own, atheist have theirs and undoubtedly, Christians have their own. So, don’t offer religion, teach and demonstrate POWER. The Holy Spirit is the Power… Acts 1:8. We all lost Him at the fall, but, Jesus restored Him through His death and resurrection. Teach Kingdom power. This is what Christ brought… Isaiah 9:6,7… not religion. Christ brought a Government of the Kingdom of Heaven. And the Holy Spirit is the representative of that Government. He is the Key we declare heaven on earth.

     The truth is, the Lord at this time is exposing, humiliating, and even allowing churches to be closed by the authorities because of using His name in vain. Any ministry not preaching the Kingdom of God message will be closed… not only in this land but throughout the earth. In the Menorah [the Lampstand, which is the Church… Revelation 2:1], it is the Holy Spirit, who is the Power, and He keeps the Light of the Word burning… Zachariah 4:6. Therefore, if your ministry does not have Him, I recommend your closure… because, who are you Proclaiming? I told the Lord a long time ago, “if His Presence is not with me, then, I shall not go”… nothing short of His intoxicating presence first in my life, then ministry.

     The only way Jesus validates His Church is by His very Presence… the Spirit of Jesus, Whom I call the ‘Governor of the Kingdom’ in my book [The Kingdom of God] is the Holy Spirit. Anything else that does not look like Him, or the Lord Jesus, ought to have been removed a long time ago. What do I mean? You do not have to look far away from the Word of God. The Holy Spirit’s Presence is the validation – in the Church. When the Word of God is preached, the Holy Spirit in demonstration of the Word, moves powerfully in signs, miracles and wonders. No one can debate against that… not even your government or the kingdom of darkness for that matter. The Lord is restoring the Church to look like the Church in the Book of Acts. Jesus said, “Let them grow together”. And on the final day, those who are more qualified than we [the angels] , shall come in and sort out the good from the bad. But if a ‘man of God’ has wrong doctrine that jeopardizes the lives of the people, then, he is a criminal and the law should take its course against such a person. Those sorting/vetting before the time should then be men and women full of the Spirit of Jesus. Nothing less!

     In the early Church, the authorities tried to stop the Holy Spirit’s move in the lives of the apostles. But, they were clever enough, Acts 5:38, “Now in the present case let me say to you, stand off (withdraw) from these men and let them alone. For if this doctrine or purpose or undertaking or movement is of human origin, it will fail (be overthrown and come to nothing); But if it is of God, you will not be able to stop or overthrow or destroy them; you might even be found fighting against God”! It could be difficult to tell apart the wheat from the tare in my opinion. Comment to tell me your views.

     We are really towards the end because, what you see happening in the Church today is that which Apostle Paul called, ‘the great falling away’ – apostasy in the Church - apostasy would precede the rapture… “But relative to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) and our gathering together to [meet] Him, we beg you, brethren, Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come], and the man of lawlessness (sin) is revealed, who is the son of doom (of perdition)”… 2 Thessalonians 2:1,3. Also Daniel 7:25; 8:25; I Timothy 4:1, 2. This is the darkness/ignorance I talked about in my previous blog. Tread carefully as you go about ‘vetting’ the churches.

     Jude, James’ brother and both, Jesus’ half brothers, predicted a time when people will turn away from God’s Truth and embrace false teachings. There is judgment for leaving the faith. There is judgment for rebellion against God. Those who do not seek to know the truth in God’s Word are susceptible to apostasy. False teachers were and still are a threat to the Chosen Lady, the Church. The Lord and the apostles repeatedly warned about them, Mark13:21-23; Acts 20:28-31; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12; 2 Peter 3:3-7. It is not enough that a teacher appears to know what he is talking about, is disciplined and moral, or says that he is speaking for God. If his words contradict the Bible, his teaching is false. And if you break one law, you’ve broken all.

     Guard against any teaching that cause the saints to dilute or reject any aspect of their faith. Such false teachings can be very direct or extremely subtle. We all, and particularly the believers ought to respond quickly when they sense false teachings being promoted. The truth does not mind honest questions. Sometimes, the source may prove to be ignorant of the error and would appreciate the correction. One day, I called aside and rebuked a young man of God after he had taught at a funeral that every one born of a woman will one day have to die – this is not the truth of the Word. Apostle Paul revealed in his book, 1 Corinthians 15 :51-55, that, “… we will not all die, but we will all be transformed”… NLT. I was left with one question, who sent him? Was the Holy Spirit speaking through him as he said this. We are not born again to buy an assurance policy but to rule, have dominion and occupy the earth… Genesis 1:26-28. This is the ignorance I proclaim against ministers of the gospel. The truth should change me first before my hearers… my readers for this matter. But you see, Kingdom Power demands that it changes me first and many of the preachers do not want change. Ministry is a 90% changing you as you stand before your Lord and 10% changing others.

     In the month of May 2023, the Lord sent me to a particular ‘church’ within Nairobi. For 5 years now – the time I have known the ‘man of God’, he has gone about doing his ‘thing’ undetected by the government. He prides to his congregation that he has a permit from the authorities. From time to time, he will give people unga [maize flour], milk, sugar and other goodies accompanied by a photograph… actually he did this one time when I was there in May 2023. Even those not present at that time received the gifts. Once or twice in the year, the Church will have a goat-eating party and those in the environs are invited. Yet, this church is surrounded by poverty. Most of his listeners come from this area.

     He uses his ministry to get money from donors in the Name of helping the poor. When the funds come, he redirects them to his personal use. The gracious Lord allowed me to rebuke him and I faced his wrath. I kind-of, was able to reach one of the donors but because this man uses witchcraft, I could not go far. But, later, the Lord derobed him and He [Jesus] removed His Lampstand. Although he has continued with his church, it is ‘dry’. This is only one example. So, it is not only wrong doctrine the authorities should be going after, but also the practice. Presenting correct documents at the Registrar of Societies will not deal with the menace. Witchcraft is truly the enemy in the end time Church today.
